Some of the best advice for remaining true, not allowing yourself to become bitter, and be able to smile more easily came from one of my dearest friends at the hospital where I used to work.

Another friend told me to do something kind for a stranger each day - the worse you feel the more kind things you do and the better you will feel at the end of the day. Of course, that doesn't mean that your off the hook if you wake up feeling great!
